I have the shell for my Bersa that came with it, but I'm going to order the shell for my XDS probably tonight so that I can switch them out when I feel like it. It did take a few weeks to get it, but I like that it came with a little kit of extra spacers, screws and the Allen key. Plus I figured it was worth a try for the price. Overall I'm very pleased with Alien Gear.

Good info. Thanks. I ended up going with a Galco holster anyway because it has a special sensor that turns my Viridian green laser on and off. Not that it makes much difference as I haven't replaced the batteries in a couple months. :D

I have 3 different Alien Gear holsters for IWB and a couple OWB..love them..I use them all the time And haven't had any issues with them..I use the one for my XDs when I go on my contractor jobs to different places and it has held up in rough conditions

Just picked up my first handgun. Probably going to go out shooting on Saturday.

I'm excited...just ordered my new CC, a Taurus 24\7 Pro compact in .45. Should be in this weekend or Monday! WooHoo!

Also, I have an opportunity to get a Berretta 9mm Nano for my wife for 350. This seems like a good price on the gun, which is brand new. Thoughts?

What did you get?

So I've been looking into getting a suppressor for a 22. I already started talking to my local FFL guy about it. Once the paperwork is submitted to the ATF, it will take a few months to process, and I have to pay a $200 tax.

I was thinking about doing that, too. Trying to do some more research on it.

Here is a pic of the AK I just got done converting from the wood/handgrip combo buttstock.

Promag Archangel furniture. Not to shabby. After seeing the AK above, I want it in Desert Tan, now. LMAO

I had all black ati with a sidefolder. Ended up painting it od green. Looked sweet but the all polymer construction was kinda cheap feeling, and the bottom handguard rail was only 1.5 inches. I found the dark earth aluminum handguard for cheap and decided to convert. Even got a tan mag. Lol. Just finished cleaning her. http://tapatalk.imageshack.com/v2/15...6cd0b51c92.jpg

That AK looks super sweet, Josh... very nice.

I just put a Hungarian model on layaway, all black, folding metal stock... its beautiful. Hemmed and Hawed between AR and AK for atleast a year... but the reliability in the worst of conditions and stopping power finally sold me on AK.

I'll sacrifice some accuracy and distance for raw power and reliability.

Thanks man. I worked hard on it. Basically the only stock parts are the reciever and barrel.

You will love the hungarian. Great choice going with the ak. Ar is nice but way to finicky imo. I can shoot junk steel case ammo through this thing by the crate and never have an issue. Hell you could leave is out in the elements for years, let is rust, kick the action open, and shoot it forever. If you need any tips with the ak or advice on upgrades let me know. Happy to help

Get a Glock 19 9mm. That is such a badass shooting gun. Put some Dawson precision fiber optic sights on mine. About to start carrying it on duty.
