I've slowly but surely worked my .40 cache back up to 1,000 rounds plus 100 or so already loaded in magazines.
My .223 stock is sorely around 500 rounds |
I am so lucky that my buddy got serious about reloading when he did and brought me along for the ride.

I also use SGAmmo, AIM surplus, and Surplus Arms and Ammo;
All three of those as well as palmetto have treated me fair. Posted via Mobile Device |

At one time I was "stocked up" with 200 rounds of .45,9mm, 5.56, etc. Now, if I don't have 800-1500 rounds ready (each)with another 4-5k in supplies, I get restless. We currently have between 7-8k 5.56 bullets with 4500 pieces of 5.56 brass, and I am chomping at the bit to purchase 3000 69 grain Custom Comps just to calm down. WTF is wrong with me? I look at the guy from "Doomsday Preppers" that had over 100k loaded rounds as prepared. ;) |

Getting all of that brass back before the SHTF was blind luck. For once, I got in before the market shit on my head. |

It's just a matter of time before our DC friends turn us in as a danger to society.

PSA: Summitgunbroker has police trade in Glock 22s (.40) in stock for $400. They certainly won't have them for long.
If I hadn't just dropped $400 getting my XDm tricked out, I'd seriously consider getting one. |

I can't believe what a panic the current administration has this country in, it's ludicris. You got gun enthusiasts going batshit crazy loading up on anything and everything and you got john q. public who never gave a crap about guns now buying up stuff too. Throw in all the crap with the military and homeland security absorbing all the ammo and it's just insane.

For anyone who had PMags on backorder with Brownell's, apparently they are now cancelling those orders
|
Good thing I bought 10 before people went full reerun, $12 each.

So I just sent them an e-mail asking WTF is going on? I get an auto-reply stating how they fill backorders in order they were received, which is bullshit, and they won't cancel orders unless you ask them too, which is bullshit.

So I signed up for a notification email from freedommunitions.com for when they had 115gr 9mm FMJ in stock. I got it at 12:30, and didn't see it until about 2:30. By the time I got to their site it was sold out.

http://www.precisiondelta.com/detail.php?sku=D124F9R $254 including shipping for 1k reman 9mm rounds. |
I guess Brownells is nwo saying the canceled orders are a result of a system glich and orders "likely" not cancled. Just like how backorders were supposed to be filled in order they were received

Got a couple of goodies today.

I have NO idea of the quality. It's described on gun-deals.com as "Pakistani Surplus", so... |

It is MK 2Z 9mm ball ammo. That 2Z signifies that it has a very hard primer and it was intended for use only in 9mm submachine guns. Your firing pin MAY or MAY NOT hit the primer hard enough to cause the round to go off. Only the 1Z is for pistols. |

Its been a good week so far!
On Monday, I got the 4 AK-74 30-round mags I ordered last week. And earlier today, I received my order of 1,000 rounds of Golden Tiger 7.62 x 39. And I have another 200 rounds that should be here early next week. PBJ The next thing on my list is a couple of 1,080-round spam cans of military surplus 5.45 x 39. I heard that AIM Surplus is going to have some by the end of the week. I've been checking their website constantly so I don't miss out. |

If you want it, you should sign up to be emailed when its in stock. Or you'll have to check their website all the time because its been selling out pretty damn quick. EDIT: And I would sign up for email notification from Wideners.com. But I have no idea when/if they'll get more. |
The AK ammo I ordered should ship next week. I hope there aren't any problems with it.

Sig Sauer M400 for $1250. Not a bad price these days.

Press Release: Olympic Arms, Inc. Announces New York State Sales Policy FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE: Olympic Arms is a staunch believer in and defender of the Constitution of the United States, and with special attention paid to the Bill of Rights that succinctly enumerates the security of our Divinely given Rights. One of those Rights is that to Keep and Bear Arms. Legislation recently passed in the State of New York outlaws the AR15 and many other firearms, and will make it illegal for the good and free citizens of New York to own a large selection of legal and safe firearms and magazines. We feel as though the passage of this legislation exceeds the authority granted to the government of New York by its citizens, and violates the Constitution of the United States, ignoring such SCOTUS rulings as District of Columbia v. Heller - 554, U.S. 570 of 2008, McDonald v. Chicago - 561 U.S. 3025 of 2010, and specifically the case of United States v. Miller – 307 U.S. 174 of 1939. Due the passing of this legislation, Olympic Arms would like to announce that the State of New York, any Law Enforcement Departments, Law Enforcement Officers, First Responders within the State of New York, or any New York State government entity or employee of such an entity - will no longer be served as customers. In short, Olympic Arms will no longer be doing business with the State of New York or any governmental entity or employee of such governmental entity within the State of New York - henceforth and until such legislation is repealed, and an apology made to the good people of the State of New York and the American people. If the leaders of the State of New York are willing to limit the right of the free and law abiding citizens of New York to arm themselves as they see fit under the Rights enumerate to all citizens of the United State through the Second Amendment, we feel as though the legislators and government entities within the State of New York should have to abide by the same restrictions. This action has caused a division of the people into classes: Those the government deems valuable enough to protect with modern firearms, and those whose lives have been deemed as having less value, and whom the government has decided do not deserve the right to protect themselves with the same firearms. Olympic Arms will not support such behavior or policy against any citizen of this great nation. Olympic Arms invites all firearms manufacturers, distributors and firearms dealers to join us in this action to refuse to do business with the State of New York. We must stand together, or we shall surely fall divided. Sincerely, Brian Schuetz President Olympic Arms, Inc. |
I am not a fan of Olympic, but this buys some major points.

I have a Sig 2340 in my safe and I'd bet that's going to be the extent of my weapon collection. She is terrified of guns. I want to get her a Walther p22 and get her out to break her from her fears. I'll get a pink one of thats what it takes, lol. |

Hasn't stepped up to the AR, but I do not push her. She will let me know when she is ready. She was terrified of guns once upon a time. |
So I finished the Colt 6920LE build and decided to trade the $750 Bushmaster straight up for an 85' Tri-Z 250 today.
