Since my goal is to kick nicotine altogether, I don't know that I will go all in like that. I will say this thing is working to curb my cravings, and I don't have to go outside for a smoke break in this cold.

Quad coils of 28 gauge wrapped 8 times each. Puts me at .36 ohms. Running this bitch at 100 watts, and it's delicious! |

I've never attempted quad coils and don't think I will. I'm nearly out of juice and I did a large reorder and stepped down to 3mg from 6. Hope to quit for good soon. |

I've been trying to find the right build since with a regulated mod you want to go with more surface area to burn more juice and get more flavor. You also want to use a smaller gauge wire so it heats up quickly. The only problem was more surface area and thinner wire equals astronomical resistance. Running quads halves my coils twice over, putting 16 wraps on both sides with a .36 resistance. This enables me to run higher wattage, speeds up the heating time, and provides the surface area I wanted. Win, win, win! |
I don't remember if this site was posted in here. It's RTS Vapes:
http://www.rtsvapes.com/default.asp If you want to mix up your own liquid they have everything. PG, VG, liquid nicotine of various strengths and concentrated flavor liquids. If you do this be very, very careful with the liquid nicotine. Don't let it come in contact with you as you mix your juice because you will absorb it and overdose through your skin. They sell PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) as well: http://www.rtsvapes.com/Laboratory_S...pment_s/53.htm And provide a link to a forum where best mixing practices are discussed: http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/diy-e-liquid/ |
I was going to try and use the e-cig and or a vaporizer to cut back on and eventually quit smoking cigs. I started smoking 40 mofo years ago at the ripe old age of 12. I thought at first I'd finally found something that would help me quit. But after slowly changing over to a vaporizer, about two weeks time, I started getting a smokers cough. Every morning, for an hour or so I would get this cough, nothing real hard, kind of a background mild cough.
Two days after I switched back to ciggs the cough went away. It made me a little leery so I only use it now in no smoking areas that allow vaping. |
