I'll be insenstive about this, but is this worse than the Utley injury or the Stingley injury in terms of the impact on the players? I don't know what they were seeing, so it appears to be more traumatic. But in those other games, they just kept going. They've never paused like this.

I saw both the Byrd incident and the Shazier one. Thing is, both of those guys were breathing and obviously alive when the left the field.
In this case, we don't know if Hamlin is alive. Don't think they should play until they know. |

The players reactions are what makes me think this has to be really, really bad. Those on the field are the ones in the know of the potential severity here.
