Feel bad for the guy. Loves being a royal, wants to be here, but inconsistent and definitely not an ace. More like a #4/5/Long Reliever... hopefully he can turn it around and put up a 4 era and be trade bait since he isn't that young anymore.

Healthy Duffy is a good 2/3 starter. I don’t believe he’s fully healthy.

If they need to shelve him to get healthy, they should shelve him.

Nothing, just wondering. I suspect it's because, when you're a super star, working through these sorts of periods must be difficult. And even more difficult when you're with a team that has a history of not throwing massive cash to bring about positive change more quickly.

I just think he has options, and I'm wondering if he's wondering if he should consider them.

Soler is turning into a special player before our eyes.

I put our chances of winning at 0% when Detroit went up 2-0 in the 8th.....good to see them battle back

That's amazing. It's also why you can never take success for granted. After 2015 everyone assumed the Mets had built a great rotation like the 90's Braves and would be competing for titles for the next decade. Haven't even come close.

They had a hot start this season, but Degrom just went down with elbow issues and is going to try to "pitch through it". The Mets have had Harvey, Degrom, Noah, and Matz try to pitch through injury issues over in 2016-2017 (seems like overextending them in 2015 was indeed a big risk), and it's never gone well.

Just makes 2015 all that more special.

The other amazing thing from tonight is that the Royals are only 7 games out of first place. Never would have guessed that. That's really not bad considering they're 10-22.
