My wife's brother has high functioning autism. My wife presents with no other autism "symptoms" besides the heightened sensory stimulation she gets from food texture. Her Autistic brother is the same way with food among the other social behaviors of having autism.

I can't imagine anyone in my family up to the great-grandparent range having it... Everyone is pretty outgoing.

It was just a thought. It's a weird sensory thing to here. My wife's most hated is lettuce. She can't even stand to hear me crunch on it or smell it. I never knew lettuce smelled?!
