I am a huge fan of Kimber and own a couple. I have a full sized TLE and an Eclipse Pro. That said, about 7 or 8 years ago they came out with an external extractor that proved to be a massive piece of ****. My TLE had it and it gave me nothing but trouble when I first bought it. Failures to feed with every mag, and it didn't matter what mag I used. I finally took it into the shop I had bought it from and they tuned the extractor up and polished off a spur that it had and it has been a machine since. Six thousand rounds later and zero problems. My Eclipse is just a beautiful gun to shoot. I've shot it against Ed Browns, Nighthawks, Wilsons, you name it and it more than holds its own. Next on the "to buy" list is the 3" Raptor. Beautiful gun!

Yeah, or 3 which is how many I ordered. All are being sent to local store so no shipping charge either. Yeah I'll be going to hell. ;)

Any time I've tried to order more than 2 in one day, they've cancelled all orders after that 2nd one.

I did it once before without a problem. I was at another place stocking up on 45/70 also. I guess it was buy ammo day.

If it works, keep on doing it.

I've got a buddy that orders 2 bricks under his name, then orders 2 under his wife's name.

Nice :thumb:

I was going to order some .22lr this morning from Midway USA, but they wanted to charge nearly $12 for shipping. That raised the prices to over $0.10 per round. No thanks.

I was gonna order from Midway too, but I decided to hold out for a better deal.

So my two orders from last Friday are still showing as "In Process". I wonder if they're going to get cancelled.

Doubt it. If they cancel an order, its usually within a day or two. A couple of my orders from last week are still "in process." They're just slow compared to other vendors.

OK, I've budgeted myself a little money to dress up my old Remington 870 Express a bit. I'm going to get an 18.5 inch barrel, a two round mag extension, a Magpul MOE forend and a new stock of some sort. Initially, I had decided on the Magpul SGA stock, but then I started seeing folding stocks and thought that one of those might be a good idea. The problem is deciding which one.

Does anyone here have experience with folding shotgun stocks? Am I better off just staying with the fixed Magpul stock?

I got all my orders in last week and things have started arriving. I decided on:

Mossberg 18.5" barrel
Remington +2 Magazine Tube Extension
Magpul MOE forend
Hogue overrubber stock
Archangel 7 round shell holder
Magpul MOE Illumination Kit (I already have a light/pressure switch)

I already have the barrel and forend on, and the rest is supposed to arrive on Saturday. I'm not totally sold on the Hogue stock yet though. If I don't like it, I'll return it and get the Magpul SGA stock. I got the Hogue because it was $50 cheaper.

This.

My Vepr 12 prefers plastic.

Best I've found online is around .24 a round that's pretty close to what Walmart carries it for. There's got to be some where cheaper.

For what's it's worth Dunedr I was picking up my ammo order from Cabelas in KC I noticed they had Herters 12ga 1oz #7 1/2 dove loads for $58 a case. Would have picked some up but it's low brass and my older Remington 1100 doesn't like low brass. Anyways rep coming your way Munson for the heads up on the 22lr ammo! Thanks!
