Honestly one of the funniest things was Dave Bautista's reactions as Drax, his bursts of laughter,
Spoiler!
, his speeches to Mantis, he was the best part right after Rocket and Yondu. Plus the intro credits with Groot were pretty hilarious too.

Yeah, I need to learn how to laugh like that. That's hilarious. Best line was "we leave no one behind. Except maybe you." ROFL

I think it warrants a 7.5/10 or so. It was far sillier and cheesier than I expected. I also grew tired of baby Groot pretty quickly. It started to feel more like Lucas' attempt at creating merchandising rather than story, though Groot has more depth than Jar Jar ever had in the films.

You all are missing the greatest thing: how ****ing hot Zoe Saldana looks in green skin as an ass kicking bitch. If I were her husband, I hope just once he got her to wear that makeup and outfit home for some serious headboard banging...

Truf.

That ass is tighter than David Carradine's Kung Fu grip.

Oh God agreed. Look I love Stan Lee & respect the man for everything he's done but damn that was painfully unfunny cameo. His cameos have jumped the shark (you don't see the DC bigwigs inserting themselves in every DC film do you? Of course not).

All the major ones are dead...

Rausch 05-11-2017 10:28 AM

So, for the record, I would not say better or worse.

I would say G2 was equal to G1...

RobBlake 05-11-2017 11:09 AM

I thought it was better

Agreed. She seems like the sci fi queen too.

I lost my shit when Quill said he'd build statues of Pac-man and Skeletor with his Celestial powers

The Franchise 05-13-2017 11:49 PM

That was a ****ing great movie.

Finally saw it yesterday. Damn what a great movie! I thought it was equally as good as the first one. Lots of good action, funny lines, and baby groot!!

First movie was one great origin film. Second one was one great sequel. Both really great movies.

I enjoyed it, although not as much as the first.

Spoiler!

True that on Kurt Russell part.

It was a fun movie though it seemed all over the place at times.
