Our CCL teacher went into great depth teaching us how to use one hand to hold a bad guy away while shooting.

I would rather just have a CC gun that is ready to rock as soon as it is drawn. There are plenty of other options, and this is coming from a 1911 LOVER.

Yes, been through what seemed like a thousand drills learning how to rack a round into the chamber one handed and my thigh hurt like hell after

If you accidentally leave it uncocked and really need to use it you are ****ed.

I didn't realize this until our CCL instructor pointed it out.

yep. I would LOVE to carry a compact 1911 but I would be scared I'd forget to disengage the safety.

DAO for me to carry.
which reminds of a time my brother in law, who is a MO state tropper, used to work Chiefs games quite a bit for extra cash. I met up with him at halftime and these two idiots came up asked him "You think it's a good idea to carry that thing with the hammer back"? (1911). My BIL looked at him like WTF, and I just laughed and told them to do their homework.

Morans.

Damn that looks like a really nice pistol - now you have added a 3rd option to the mix :grr::)

How do you like the P938? It looks like a badass gun.

It shoots really nice, feels a little small with the regular magazine, but the extended mag is perfect, and still fits a pocket holster in jeans or shorts. I put a laser sight on it too.

Nikon has finally brought some sense to the 30mm scope mount market.

No more getting raped by companies charging way to much just because they can:

Prices range between 60-80 bucks, and they even make an XR version of the 30mm mount which allows for an extra 20 moa of adjustment.

Man what a great month it's been for me gun wise. Got the Psa combo xd40 ar-15 in, sold the xd for a good chunk. Ended up with 400.00 In the ar. Had some 22 mag given to me by a guy a work with(didn't have a 22 mag). Got an Ithaca over and under 12 ya. Given too me by my grandfather. Then went over there today he was cleaning his closet and found a browning pump 22 mag rifle. He didn't remember where he got it or when so he gave it to me. 3 new guns in a month and I haven't shot a damn one of them yet.

Is that your Palmetto AR?

That looks like a nice shotgun, but I don't know anything about shotguns. :D

Dunerdr 06-15-2014 09:03 PM

That is the palmetto ar. Pulled it apart today checked everything out looks like a steal at 400 invested. It's supposed to be a nice shotgun I don't know much about them. I don't know if it's worth a lot but it's regarded as a great upland bird gun. It does come up and around very nicely.

Palmetto stuff is going for insane prices.

I am seriously thinking about buying 10 of their premium AR's just to store away until the next bad thing happens.

Armalite is even having a sale on their stuff right now. The AR-10 SASS upper was at $1450 last time I checked, and I had to talk myself down from that one.

Get out to the range and shoot what you have. Today it was beautiful, I got out and shot a lot of my gear, and in the process reminded myself I don't need any new shit because the shit I already own is badass.

Shooting more saves me money. If the weather is bad and I don't shoot I end up buying new stuff to fill the void.
