Well, we didn't even go to his pro day. We decided Oregon was more important. Speaks volumes.

So we had no one at his pro day?

Not necessarily.

Additionally, you're still speculating. Can you show that not attending a pro day means instant removal of interest in a prospect?

The problem is because they picked Fischer people assume that they thought
Geno sucked. They liked Fischer better than the others considered but it doesn't mean they hated the others. But people here assume that.

Good luck getting that through.

If only we'd have like big Sheldon a bit more.

They had the opportunity to take him and didn't. This is fact, not speculation.

Wow. So the guys the Chiefs drafted were the only ones they wanted? Interesting.

So they like Geno enough that they picked a right tackle over him.

So we're assuming Reid and Dorsey are reeruns?

It's his pro day and everyone usually sends their top dogs to see a QB's pro day. Reid and Dorsey were in Oregon more concerned with Kiko Alonso and Dion Jordan.

I doubt there was any real interest in him. I severely doubt he was in the top 3 choices on our board.

Is it just me or does anybody else ready your posts and is immediately reminded of "Lenny"?

I mean, congratulations, your first sentence is factual but also misleading (as you intend to make it all-encompassing without knowing if the Chiefs would have drafted Geno in the 3rd if he was available or moved up if he fell far enough).

Love Sheldon, but I'm fine with DeVito and Jackson for now.

We could really use Jonathan Cooper or Chance Warmack too.

I'm not sure why you jumped to that conclusion. Could it be that they liked him but felt that Alex + Fisher was a better organizational move?

Or that having Geno on the bench may rattle Alice after what happened in SF. I wouldn't be surprised if there was some sort of conversation that happened before the trade where the Chiefs assured Alice he wouldn't be pushed by a high draft pick or FA. Obviously speculation, but hey everyone else is doing it :D

Now we're back to them not wanting Geno which was the original point. That's what all their moves point to. You don't trade 2 seconds for a Qb if you want Geno. You don't make Chase Daniel one of if not the highest paid back up QB if you want Geno. You don't go into the draft with no RT if you want Geno.
