I really enjoyed Apostle. There were some blatant wound care oversights and it got a little wacky towards the end, but overall it was really good. I could've gone for some Amish tits, even just a flash, especially with the pale lady, but that's just a personal preference on my part. Really good mix of old timey, religious nutjob horror and gore. Kind of humorous, intentional or not. Definitely recommended.

Haha "gnarly" is an understatement . It features maybe the most brutal kill I've ever seen in film history.. Damn good film too...Enjoy!:D

I can't believe that scene made it past the motion picture association. Damn good movie too.

This is my favorite scene in all of horror movies. Well done by a master of terror Alfred Hitchcock

Apostle was gnarly as hell (currently streaming on Netflix) . Its about an evil cult directed by the guy that did The Raid films. Highly recommend it!

awesome - thanks

Apostle was awesome. Really got gory in the final third.

Love me some Garath Evans.

I saw Split this weekend. McAvoy was fantastic, but the ending was a joke.

I'm watching this one tonight. It's a hybrid of Western & Horror which is pretty unique in itself. Apparently there's some scenes that are pretty gnarly.

My favorites I am always recommending

Evil Dead 2 (classic and hilarious)

The vampire's Kiss (Nic Cage, Maria Conchita Alonso, Jennifer Beal)

The River's Edge (Keanu Reeves, Crispin Glover, Dennis Hopper)

(yeah, i only like stuff form the late 80's)

The Witch was a pile of shit...wow

Planning to see the 4k restoration of The Fog this weekend. I've never seen it. Trying to expand my horizons to include more of the supernatural stuff, like early Hellraiser, instead of just stalk and slash.
