But as it currently stands now Kansas's players have more of an impact.

Care to list your 5 "impact" KU players in this NFL challenge?

ROFL
Watching your Boys in the playoffs (on the sidelines, making zero impact) must be amazing.

Jesus Christ you are just pathetic. We've done this before, but let's put this stupid claim of yours to rest once and for all.

Your KU alum and their playoff impact:

Aqib Talib- played in 2 playoff games last year. Combined game stats were THREE tackles, ZERO passes defensed. The quarterbacks throwing against Talib had 331 yards and 400 yards passing respectively. What impact stands out for you here??

Anthony Collins- played in 1 playoff game last year. Was only a starter for 7 of the teams 17 games last year. Cincinnati got throttled by the Chargers and only managed 10 points. His quarterback was sacked 3 times and their leading rusher had 45 yards.

Daryl Stuckey- did not start either playoff game for the Chargers. Had 1 tackle zero passes defensed in the wildcard game and is completely absent from the box score in the second game. Impact????

Chris Harris- played in ONE of the Broncos three playoff games last year. He finished with two tackles and one pass defensed. HUGE impact, right???

Steven Johnson- this one is my personal favorite of yours, since you always use him to describe KU playoff caliber players. Mr. Johnson, after registering six tackles the entire 2013 season (all on special teams) comes in with a big fat ZERO in the three Broncos playoff games. He didn't even step on the field.

So what is the grand total here? Nine games played, a whopping six tackles, one pass defended and a lineman who's team was abused all day. And that's combined stats from ALL of your KU players making that huge "impact" in the postseason.

Btw, Justin Smith and Aldon Smith had better stats and more of an impact in the wild card game by itself than all your players combined. In that single game, they had 7 tackles and 1.5 sacks.

Please tell me where I misinterpreted or misrepresented any of your claims or the truth.

Since NFL season hasn't started, let's wait to argue about that until the season starts. Here's a feel-good story about a local Big 12 team battling an SEC team:

Jaylen Brown to Visit Kansas, Kentucky

Jaylen Brown, the No. 1 player in the Class of 2015 according to Scout.com, will take official visits to Kansas Oct. 10 for “Late Night in the Phog” and to Kentucky Oct. 17 for “Big Blue Madness,” Desmond Eastmond of the Worldwide Renegades told SNY.tv.

“The only two visits he has set are Kansas and Kentucky,” Eastmond said.

Time... Alright who had 1 day after opening Saturday ? Who guessed that late night at the phog would be mentioned within 1 day of opening Saturday for college football? You are the winner. I would have guessed at least 3 days but KU is truly pathetic so I should have guessed the same day.

Stop the timer. 1 day is the winner

To be fair, basketball was actually mentioned by one of the twins yesterday or the day prior (didn't go back and check).

Well I see Bambi & Blake are arguing about the NFL and that hasn't even started either. I just posted a feel-good story about the only local team that ever accomplishes anything. Football is mostly a diversion for both Chiefs fans and local college fans since neither will ever result in anything of note.

The Chiefs, Jayhawks, and Wildcats don't start until next week. Are we supposed to spend the whole weekend talking about your game against whoever putzes you played?

TribalElder 08-31-2014 05:10 PM

lololololol

1 day

Fairly easy choice. Cal puts stars into the league and Self puts role players into the league.

Beaker hoops are a failure for tanking football in the process it's not like they are Kentucky.....or even Florida with multiple recent titles.
