Why I think the Stanley Cup is the greatest sports trophy:

1) Your name is engraved on it, so you become immortal.

2) You can take it home with you and drink out of it with your buddies.

Yes. Bettman is a ****ing piece of shit as are the majority of the owners in the NHL.

No commissioner, aside from maybe Stern, comes close to the shit known as Bettman.

The Blackhawks' owner had to die before they became a contender again... too bad it didn't work for the Chiefs.

Indeed. You can argue how much fun the NHL itself is to watch, but I don't see how anyone could disagree that the Stanley Cup is the most awesome trophy in pro sports.

I've taken plenty of hallucinogens in my time, but no. I can't imagine anything that weird.

Well.... only 3 months until hockey season.

Huge shame that we only got half of the bang for our buck...but there's labor peace and only a few more months until we start it back up!
