The best drafters stick to their board and don't panic. The Patriots made great selections doing this and the whole thing went South when they got away from it and the same goes for the Giants.

The Ravens are a special case and some ****ing how, BPA always seems to match up with need.

Nothing against him, but our GM paid too dam much.

Seriously? That's literally the dumbest criticism that anyone can say about any QB in the league. Virtually every QB in the league can only take their teams as far as the talent around them allows. Some can't even do that much.

Do you really think that Kaepernick is a better QB than Aaron Rodgers is? Rodgers has never beaten the 49ers in the playoffs. Why is that? The 49ers have a dominant defense, the Packers do not.

Peyton Manning couldn't win a Superbowl despite having Hall of Fame Wrs in Reggie Wayne and Marvin Harrison until his defense stepped it up a notch with Freeney and Mathis.

You think Russell Wilson wins the Superbowl without Marshawn Lynch carrying the team all season long and that defense suffocating opposing offenses?

You think Big Ben wins his titles without the Steel Curtain terrorizing opposing offenses?

All QBs depend on the talent around them to win. That's why they call football the ultimate team sport.

Look how epically bad he was with what he had. Eli is a 2 time Super Bowl QB and Shaub sucks.

I hope this holds true maybe the chiefs can get a steal in 3rd by moving up! If they can grab lee I would say this draft was a success then maybe get Desir in 4th if he is still around

patteeu 05-09-2014 04:07 PM

Random thought: I predict that Lee will fall to the 3rd round, but probably not to the Chiefs' pick.

I doubt it

I bet Lee is gone within 12 picks today

Give me Moncrief tonight and I'll be in a much better mood.

R8RFAN 05-09-2014 04:10 PM

They are talking a Cowboys trade up with the Raiders right now..

Stay Tuned

Matthews - Latimer - Robinson - Lee.

Since Latimer and Mathews will be gone, I'm hoping for Jarvis Landry.

CaliforniaChief 05-09-2014 04:19 PM

Lee's medical concerns must be a widespread concern in the league. I'm not even bitching about the Ford pick, I like it...but if the thought is that Lee is back to what he was his first two years at USC, he'd be gone and would have been gone in the first 15 picks.

Mr. Laz 05-09-2014 04:36 PM

Houston is going to stand Clowney up?

seems like a bad idea to me

Not at all. He'll be listed as an OLB but I can guarantee you that his hand will be in the dirt on at least 80% of his snaps. Plus Clowney is plenty athletic enough to do it if they really wanted him to.

Rasputin 05-09-2014 04:47 PM

Can they shut the **** up about Johnny Manziel all ready?

Every minute the name Johnny Manziel. Shut the **** up!

You wouldn't have cared if he were drafted one spot lower.

Of course not I'd expect them to talk moar Johnny Manziel but they didn't so they can shut the **** up about Johnny Manziel all ready.

Marcellus 05-09-2014 04:58 PM

You have to laugh at Browns fans.

They get a high profile QB and lose their best offensive weapon.

And draft a CB with their other pick.

BryanBusby 05-09-2014 04:59 PM

Yeah, I'm sure they're laughing all the way to the bank with that bare minimum extra mid first round 2015 draft selection.

Teams will just send a guy through Clowney's zone and make him turn his back to the LOS. That's a win for the offense.

Just put Clowney opposite of Watts and force offenses to run the ball or worry about helping both OTs.

In58men 05-09-2014 05:03 PM

Don't get your hopes people we will NOT be trading up or back. Like I said earlier in this thread, we will sit still and get offers for trades but nobody will deal with us. 3rd round is going to be a long wait. Excellent offseason, I'm very optimistic
