I just want to throw the controller at the wall each time I do a batmobile mission. the controls are beyond shitty. AND it IS overused.

Just strictly hold L2 during the battles and then use the dodge button to avoid being shot at when the lasers come at you. I thought it was fine. Use R1 for the 60mm gun, etc. What exactly is the issue you're having with the controls?

Throughout the game I never used the "drift" feature as I felt it wouldn't be productive. It's far from perfect, as it is their first attempt at featuring the batmobile. Gotta expect a bit of a rough patch the first time they insert this into the game.

because I have never been good at driving games primarily. I run into buildings all the time. I constantly overturn and miss my targets. You can call it my issue if you want but I'm not the only one HATING it right now.

Like I said, it's not perfect. But I didn't hate it by any means... Actually is it possible that your TV lags in reaction just a tad?

I say that because I have a GoogleTV and it lags by approx 1/4 second during gaming. In games like Madden, that's enough to lose a game.

It's not noticeable to most people, but when I go from the GoogleTV and switch the PS4 to my Sony TV I can immediately see a difference in reaction time.

Nah, if that were the case I would suck at all my games. This is the only one I just can't seem to do. Batmobile was nothing more than a novelty add on but they didn't treat like that. They should call this Batman:Tanks.

Have you changed your settings to toggle mode for the Batmobile? I found that helps a lot so you don't have to hold down the damn button during combat.

They should've had boss fights. Take out some of the drone fighting and add in bosses. The Harley and Red hood packs should've been longer

Honestly, this game reminded me why I enjoy sports gaming more than others. I can spend 4 months on MLB, or 5 months on Madden, or 3 months on NBA. Other games last 2/3 weeks typically and Arkham Knight got very repetitive to me with the missions, although I loved the main storyline.

Games like Skyrim are an exception to the rule it seems.

What keeps me still in it is my batman love. August they're adding the '89 bat suit and batmobile. Love that batman so that'll keep me playing off and on.

So, it sounds like based on the game play and control issues, that I'd have as much fun playing it as watching one of those youtube 3 hour recordings of someone completing the whole game.

I've been doing that for one-player games for the past couple years. I just can't justify dropping $60 for two weeks of gameplay.

The older I get the less time I have to play. I'm coming out of semi retirement for the next MG, which just so happens to be dropping on my birthday. I'll still play but with a heavy lean on sports games and the like you can enjoy for an hour or two here and there.

The youtube videos are the equivalent version of video game cliff notes.

Yeah, as annoyed as I am with Destiny and its total lack of a story, its still my go to game when I just want to go shoot shit. Its the best FPS mechanics out there and I'm getting better every day with it. Did PoE 34 x3 last week and was right there with the other two on total kills but my KD was much higher than theirs. :thumb:
