Draft has been set for Thursday September 2 at 8:00 CDT. Hopefully that works for most (all) of you. I'll get League Safe set up in the next couple days and start collecting payment. Once I receive payment from everyone, we will use a random draft order generator so everyone knows where they are picking early enough to start planning.

Sept 2nd happens to be my birthday but I think Ill still be able to make the live draft. For a bday gift I probably should just get the number 1 and 2 pick. :P

I certainly can't think of a better way to spend a birthday than doing a fantasy football draft...

umm anyway we can do it another day, the Chiefs play a home preseason game that day, I usually dont go to preseason games, but my uncle whos a huge packers fan, I already said i would go to the game with him.

I had actually forgot about that preseason game, and there may be others going to it.

I have changed the draft to Sunday, September 5 at the same time. Hopefully this works for everyone, as it will not be changed again.

Quick question as far as a league rule goes. I noticed that the QB Pass for TD is set at 4 points where as a rushing TD and receiving TD are set to 6 points. Was this going to be changed for this year or staying the same?

See I am reading the rules before the draft this time :P

I had planned to leave the QB points where they were at. However, if there is a majority that wants 6 points/passing TD, I could change it.

It wasn't really a payment, more of a deposit for you to hold until Feb when it is returned with 600% interest for 1st place.

I actually hate having the number 1 pick, yea you get the first pick, but usually you dont have a well balanced team like some others.

I must have missed this, it does seem pretty odd that a QB gets only 4 points for a QB, I vote for 6, if we are doing votes.

Since a few have mentioned it, I went ahead and changed it to 6 points per passing TD. I don't really like it as QBs just smoke everyone scoring wise in these leagues, but whatever.

I personally prefer the 4 points for passing TD but will work with whatever.
