Craziness in Houston! edit: medium high level crazy, fumble rec TD
|
Arkansas pouring it on Texas. That's only because nobody cares about college football in Texas, though.

Halftime highlights..."terrible day for the Big 12. Calling Oklahoma a bug on a windshield would be an insult to bugs everywhere".
|
Looks like Arkansas may have as many wins against Big 12 teams this year as they have against SEC teams the past two years.
|
As an SEC hater.... Damn... No defense for the a Big 12
|
Mizzou beat A&M AND Arky this season.

They pitched two shutouts before losing to mizzou |

Losing three bowl games on the same December day, that's not especially easy, even for the Big X.
Conference's flagship football program gets worked by an ACC team with a backup QB. Texas getting pummeled in a home bowl game. WV blows a ten point lead and is losing by 15 until a garbage time TD. To the ninth place team in the SEC. |

Ok. |
It's the 4th quarter. Arkansas has 31 points. Texas has 27 yards.

So who exactly did Baylor or TCU beat this year? Oklahoma? Texas?

Dark day for the twin dipshits
|
CFB Playoff committee is looking pretty smart right now for leaving the Big 12 out . . . .
'Flagships' really representin' tonight. |
Anyone seen PB?
Bambi? |
The Big Dumpster fire

Just so I'm clear, Arkansas plays in the SEC West right?

Bowl records
SEC - 3 and 0 PAC 12 - 3 and 0 CUSA - 4 and 1 ACC - 3 and 3 B1G - 2 and 2 Indy's - 1 and 1 Sun Belt - 1 and 1 Mtn West - 2 and 4 AAC - 1 and 3 MAC - 1 and 3 Big XII - 0 and 3 |
One True Champion was always meant as a general bowl prediction anyway.

Oklahoma was favored in every game they played this year. They went 8-5.
|
Jesus Christ. That's horrible.
|
I guarantee that the Big X will not lose a bowl game today.
|
Oklahoma's performance doesn't bode well for Alabama. Wow, how terrible.
|
The SEC is 3-0 in bowl games. Mizzou is 3-0 against those teams.
|
Poor Bambino and PB. Forced to resort to arm flailing.
|
Texas, Oklahoma, and West Virginia were out scored yesterday 116-50 by the bottom of the SEC West and Clemson (a team that lost by 24 to Georgia and didn't beat a ranked team all year).
Way to humiliate yourselves on your showcase day. Three bowl games played...all involving Big 12 teams...all ass kickings. |
I want to hear an argument for TCU in the playoffs today.
Here are their wins...in order FCS team 11 loss AAC team 4 loss B1G team (underdog in their next game) -----------------------conference schedule 6 loss team 8 loss team 6 loss team 3 loss team (underdog in their next game) 9 loss team 7 loss team 10 loss team Talk about running the gauntlet... |
Big X fans might be wishing they'd matched Baylor and TCU up in a bowl game... so they could win at least one LMAO
|
|
Since leaving, Mizzou and aTm are 4-0 in bowl games. The Big 12 is 7-11...6-12 against the spread.
|
Just goes to show bama didn't give a shit about nopelahoma

For all you Sagarin worshipped out there, his latest numbers are hot off the press.
10...yes 10 SEC teams are in his top 20. But that's not all. Check the Big 12 conference standings...ouch. http://www.usatoday.com/sports/ncaaf...14/conference/ |

The distance between the Big X and the SEC West is about the same as the distance between the Big X and the weaker division of the Mountain West. According to Sagarin, the best team in the Big X would rank 4th in the SEC-West, just slightly ahead of Auburn. |
Quote:
But to your point, you are reading it wrong. In the Predictor he's got them 1/2 point behind Ole Miss for 2nd and that's within the standard error of the data. Sagarin would never say a 1/2 point proves one team is better than the other just as nobody would say a 3.0 WAR baseball player > 2.9 WAR. Besides, that'll change this upcoming week anyway just as the Big 12 slid from a tie with the Least by two blowouts yesterday. |

With oklahoma throttling Alabama and FSU dumping all over Auburn in the title game one may soon be thinking that the ACC has taken over as the country's premiere football conference.
Perhaps Oregon can swing things in the playoffs. |

"Texas has got to mean something. Right now it doesn't mean much" - chuck strong
|
Strong was a terrible hire. He is going to implode.
If you spotted Texas 17 points a game starting 28 games ago, the Longhorns would be 17-11. |
They've fallen almost to Florida levels.
|
True. They're like Florida minus a couple of championships in the past 20 years.
