Baylor takes down Kentucky.
Kentucky now has 3 losses on the year already. |
I hope those nutjobs set Cal's house on fire.
Note that the Memphis fan base is also completely insane and two pathetic looking losses to not-quite-ranked teams in our first five games nearly led to rioting, so I have no room to talk, but still. |
Gators need to stay awake tonight @ FSU and not look ahead to Arizona.
|
Such a shame UK is out of the Top 25.
Darn. |

My second post was 100% sarcastic. Sorry that didn't come across. As far as you listing the Power 6 only, that's pretty funny. I think that there a few High-Majors above some of the Power 6 this year...The SEC and PAC12 are sort of weak this year and I think that the MWC, A10, WCC, and CUSA might be ranked ahead of them in the conference rankings... I bet there is at least one or two PAC or SEC team that has been down by 30 at half :) Edit: Nope...only the MWC CONFERENCE CENTRAL MEAN SIMPLE AVERAGE TEAMS WIN50% 1 BIG TEN = 84.78 84.63 ( 1) 12 84.71 ( 1) 2 BIG EAST = 82.35 82.80 ( 2) 15 82.69 ( 2) 3 ATLANTIC COAST = 82.29 82.19 ( 3) 12 82.22 ( 3) 4 BIG 12 = 81.94 81.28 ( 4) 10 81.59 ( 4) 5 MOUNTAIN WEST = 80.90 80.20 ( 5) 9 80.31 ( 5) 6 PAC-12 = 80.31 80.10 ( 6) 12 80.13 ( 6) 7 SOUTHEASTERN = 79.70 79.86 ( 7) 14 79.78 ( 7) 8 ATLANTIC 10 = 78.02 77.79 ( 8) 16 77.86 ( 8) 9 MISSOURI VALLEY = 76.11 76.46 ( 9) 10 76.36 ( 9) 10 WEST COAST = 75.15 75.74 ( 10) 9 75.37 ( 10) 11 CONFERENCE USA = 74.19 74.57 ( 11) 12 74.53 ( 11) |
Geron Johnson's playing his fourth D1 game and has looked like a superstar against a Sweet 16 team returning its starters. It's early to invoke the names of Tyreke Evans or -- dare I say -- Derrick Rose when describing the influence he's having on the court, but I just did. So there. Shaq Goodwin has been unbelievable, too. He's a freshman in December and he looks like a three-year starter.
Memphis is up 80-58 on Ohio and that number feels deceptively small. Easily one of the most brutally dominant performances I've seen in the Pastner era. |

So the Big 12 finished higher in football than the SEC. And thus far is leading in basketball. Wonder how much longer MU tools (redundant?) will wear their SEC shirts in pride. |

84-58 Tigers over the Mighty Bobcats of Ohio U. Hoooooly shit that was fun. |

We play you next year...Selfishly, I hope it's here. Either way within the next 2 years. Home and Home. |

4 games at the same time in the Jerry Dome to kick off the 2013 season. Would be awesome to attend. Posted via Mobile Device |
Love the idea.
Hate the fact that Jones reaps the benefit. Can't stand that guy. |
Uhhh wouldn't whistles from other games be mistaken for one in your game?
|
I would guess the courts would he far enough apart that the players would learn pretty quick which whistles were for their game. Plus context cues.

LOUISVILLE ....BITCHES
|
This is classic Memphis-Louisville so far. Incalculable intensity, crowd going completely nuts, huge runs and brutal (non-)fouls. My heart is pounding just from watching this.
DJ Stephens picked a perfect time to have the best half of basketball he's ever played in his life. He's so beloved by the fanbase and totally deserves it. |
They look good so far. Hope they can keep it up.
|
Well Butler just put on a clinic for blowing games.
|
You have got to be ****ing shitting me.
|
...and Butler wins in OT
|
Cody Zeller should get more than 5 rebounds in an OT game against Butler
|
Oregon is leading Nebraska 27-18 at the half. I turned on a basketball game, and bizarro Rose Bowl broke out.
|
Big game tonight. Go Gators!
|
Texas vs Michigan State right now.
In before CJIZZles hate. |
Syracuse got punked by Temple.

Texas is terrible. You guys should win by 15+. |
Quote:
Good thing I took Texas +11, which looks like a shoe-in even if we win. |
Quote:
But, last game I watched them (the actual game slips my mind) they looked terrible. They were playing like a B10 team. :) And nothing like a potential win during a loss! |

State up by 8! |

Memphis is still painfully inconsistent, and last night's game was way too close for way too long, but at least DJ Stephens and Shaq Goodwin still own.
|
Terrapins looking good this year. Len is a beast.

Nebraska/Wisconsin.
19-19. At half. ROFL |

LMAO.
High School Girls Ball scores in the BIG. Love it. |
I will pridefully eat my crow here.
While I am still not a fan other the B10 brand of basketball -- that is a really good conference this year. However, Nebraska, Iowa, Wisconsin should join the MVC for basketball. But, that might be an insult to the MVC. |
Oh yeah, the B1G will be very well represented in the Tourney. It's a solid conference, no doubt.
Just have to laugh at pathetic scores like that, though. |

There were a couple of posters who had a hard deciphering between an opinion and fact. Both of them have disappeared from this thread. One is probably getting ready for prom while the other is lifting weights or something. But who can blame then when their teams are two horrifically bad B10 teams. |

That was pretty awesome.
|
He made the decision to pass it to himself off the backboard at the three point line with like two guys in front of him. Hard to believe a player would even think of doing that.
|
Indiana with a HORRIFIC loss at home to those darn Badgers.
"Just the big ten beating up on the big 10....." Blah, blah, blah, yank, yank, yank. |

basketball around the country as a whole is in a down year. there aren't really any elite teams (maybe Louisville), but there are a lot of really really good teams. There are about 10-12 teams that can probably make a good run for a final four. |
