They messed around with that contract. His cap number is 10,017.000 next season and then he's a free agent.

A 1 year rental? Who wants to give up draft picks for that? Our O-line is acceptable. Every pick next year needs to be on the defense.

THIS!

Of all the problems we have encountered since Hudson’s departure, I don’t think C is one of them.

Hudson would be an expensive back-up center.

When healthy...

No thanks, just the next bum off the street is better than overpaying Olinemen. Mahomes has proven a great QB makes a below average line better. If anything the guys give an extra 20% just to play with Mahomie.

I assume he’ll be back this week.

The center is literally the least important player on an NFL offense.

I know.

Fullbacks contribute way more, which is why they're on the field more than the Center.

lulz.

I hate this mentality.

All QB's play better behind good protection. The last thing I want is Kc playing budget trash OL like the Giants.

If you have a superstar QB, protecting him from getting hit is important. I don't want to overpay everyone on the OL, but I sure as hell don't want a budget OL getting him hit extra times. There's a lot of room in between.

A QB can make a bad OL look good, but a good OL makes a great QB unstoppable.

Have to 100% disagree with you. The center is important. Not like QBOTF or LTOTF important, but it's still important. Their responsibilities on a given play includes but is not limited to setting the protection and potentially sliding it in one direction, depending on the defensive look; identifying the "point linebacker," who triggers assignments for other offensive linemen; surveying safety depth and how it relates to the type of front being shown (even, odd, bear, and so on).

Zach Fulton covered when Morse got hurt until now. We have health problems at Center and both guard positions now.

We don't want to pull a Colt move and let our good young QB get pummeled because our offensive line is crap. As long as we field a decent offensive line our great young offensive talent will continue to destroy the NFL.

Let's not **** it up.
