I don't even know where he would rank right now, but by the time the next two world cups come around I could see him being one of the best players in the world. The team that they're molding for the next qualifying run is young and has a very high ceiling.

First, they need to hire the right people for the GM and head coaching job. The federation panicked when Jurgen struggled, but putting Arena back in charge was a huge mistake, imo. Honestly, it would suck for KC, but Peter Vermes would be an excellent hire.

thanks for the info!

Jeff triplette will officiate, and will negate an American goal because of forward progress, which is not even a penalty in soccer. You heard it here first.

Do we know what US cities will be hosting games?

Decent and getting better. It's growing in the youth ranks like it is in the rest of the country. This area does support 3 MLS teams if you count Philly. Problem is it's such a diverse area that any USA games that are here are just hard to get a majority of US fans.

I wonder if we could somehow work out a deal to keep some of the Greeks around and trade them for the people we have running around who actually think “American” is a language.

KC is a contender, particularly since Chicago withdrew interest.

St.L has more grassroots soccer interest and a better history with the 1950 connection to the boys from the Hill, but they have shit for facilities and have demonstrated shit for fan interest.

Russian sub with first touch goal on home turf.

Life is good for that guy.
