My sister got her daughters and nieces a Kate Spade wallet one year for Christmas and it was a big hit with the girls.

Based on that last part, I suspect it had nothing to do with her death. You're clear.

I bought a phone case for my GF that apparently was a Kate Spade brand. That is the extent of what I know about her.

It is unfortunate but being very creative and mental illness seem to have some sort of genetic link. Sad that this person took their life and didn't get help.

She grew up in Kansas City. Went to St Teresa’s Academy and KU. Moved to NYC, married David Spade’s brother and started a successful, eponymous fashion line (handbags and such).
