There were some good southern jam bands in the 90's too.

Had the pleasure of seeing this band in Nashville one night. Didn't even know they were plying we just happened to be there. Damn they put on a good show!

Personally I love that song. Just heard it a couple of times last week and was loving it.

I'll spare everyone the death metal vids even though that's where it was at in the 90s along with rap. Some of the other stuff that defined my 90's would be:

The entire Life of Agony - River Runs Red album was/still is crucial af.
