Even if he hit this we would have lost by 3

Nothing more.

As usual, over reaction.

.

I wouldn't call it over reaction. It shows why we shouldn't trust Alex Smith going into the playoffs and keep our expectations in check.

Alex didn’t overthrow him by 10 yards?

Kman34 10-15-2017 05:35 PM

On the other hand ....Robinson sure can get open..

Should Gaines have made that play?

Sure.

But when the QB is missing wide open WR's, does it matter?

Nope.

Bowser 10-15-2017 05:36 PM

These main things lost us the game...

- run defense
- Andy not taking the field goal
- Gaines not making that interception
- Alex missing Robinson wide open in the end zone

If we take any one of those out, we likely win the game.

Fans in the stands had tighter coverage on Robinson than Pittsburgh did on that play.

He wasn't good today, but that really wasn't old Alex either. He didn't check down every time, he took plenty of shots downfield and overthrew almost every one of them.

This is the truth. He did miss two huge TD's. And those are hard to think about in a close game.

I do agree with this though. Those two nearly made the offense inoperable lol.

I am not blaming anyone for this loss. I am blaming everyone.

The Steelers have our number, what can I say.
