Pros: We get an extra bye essentially to prepare for Philly after an 0-1 start.

Cons: We start 0-1.

We beat them in the regular season a couple years ago ( que the Brady's done memes that followed) and then lost to them in the playoffs. I'd like to hope for winning both this year, but I'll settle for a loss week one this year IF we beat them in the AFC title game......

This teams been such garbage early on in the season that I have no expectations for us. San Diego was raping us until keenan allen went down.

Does anyone think Brady at 40 finally falls off a cliff a la Manning and Favre?

He will need a "push" and hopefully Houston can provide that with a blindside hit in the 1st qtr....

Pros: we get exposed as pretenders.

Cons: we pretend we weren't exposed for the rest of the season.

That's the beauty of the NFL. Every game is full of both pros and cons.

I think it's helpful to get everyone focused.

If you are NE, it's just another game IMO. If you are the Chiefs, its your best opportunity to make a huge statement.
