I don't think Alex will trade have any trade value with 17 million on his contract, but what do I know.

I assume since he's in the last year of his contract, that any trade would involve a contract restructure/extension that would reduce his cap number dramatically.

He probably has some value but I think the people looking for a 2nd round pick are out of their ****ing minds.

Smith will be about the same age Carson Palmer was when the Raiders traded him to Arizona for a swap of 6th round picks and a conditional 7th.

Maybe you get a team to bite on his "ability to win games" and get a 4th round pick but hes not that much better than Palmer was at the time Arizona traded for him.
