I'm going to counter with Ware and Sharpe for Ertz and Jonathan Stewart.

Your counter would be a great trade I think. Did he bite for that option?

Ware has very little value, and isn't an especially amazing backup for fantasy. There are about four or five backups I would rather have.

I would rather have Booker as a speculative add. Picked him up early this morning myself.

I have no patience for Belichick running backs. You just never know.

My RBs are suspect at best and I'm about to drop Tajae Sharpe. He was supposed to be the sleeper to end all sleepers....and he's never woken up. What the **** would you do?

QB Jameis Winston
QB Carson Wentz
QB Philip Rivers

RB Spencer Ware
RB Jerrick McKinnon
RB Thomas Rawls
RB Matt Forte
RB Christine Michael

WR Allen Robinson
WR Tyrell Williams
WR Marvin Jones
WR Desean Jackson
WR Tajae Sharpe

TE Cameron Brate

DEF Bills

K Graham Gano

I forget how many teams are in your league, but it doens't look terrible to me.

I assume you have a 2nd QB or open flex position? Maybe not since you dropped one.

So..

QB: Wentz and Rivers. Not great, but Wentz has been steady enough.
RB: Christine Michael, Matt Forte, Jerrick McKinnon. Not bad depth honestly.
WR: Allen Robinson (better days are ahead), Tyrell Williams, Jones, Meredith.

Weak at the top, yeah.. but good depth. And some of those players (Michael for example) are performing well over general perception.

I like the Bills defense.. they are looking really good. I'm done streaming defenses having picked them up last week somehow.

Just going to brag a bit.. I have been killing the waiver wires.

I picked up:

- Jordan Howard ( a week before his breakout )
- Will Fuller
- Cameron Meredith
- Tyler Eifert
- Devontae Booker

This is the first year we have actually had waivers.. obviously, the trick is speculative adds before players go off.

Also picked up and dropped

- Tajae Sharpe
- Dwayne Washington (keeping an eye on that situation though)
- Chris Hogan (decided I wanted to swing on Booker instead.. too many weapons there)

So he didn't bite....unfortunately. I traded Ware straight up for Ertz. I think that Ware's value is only going to drop (barring a Charles injury obviously). I dropped Sharpe for Davante Adams. Sharpe hasn't done shit since Week 1 and I'd rather have Adams (even though he's the 3rd WR on that team). I also ended up picking up Fleener before the trade because I needed a TE. Here's my team as of now.

QB Carson Wentz
QB Philip Rivers

RB Jerrick McKinnon
RB Thomas Rawls
RB Devontae Booker
RB Matt Forte
RB Christine Michael

WR Allen Robinson
WR Tyrell Williams
WR Marvin Jones
WR Desean Jackson
WR Davante Adams

TE Coby Fleener
TE Zach Ertz

DEF Bills

K Graham Gano

Depending on how my TE position sits after this week....I'll probably end up dropping Fleener and picking up another RB. I could always go pick up Bobby Rainey right now if I wanted to. The top RBs right now that are available are Rainey, Richard or Ajayi.

I ****ed myself on Howard. I had Langford and tried for weeks to dump him off to another team. Had a trade at the end and it fell through. Guy picked up Howard that night. I should have just dropped Langford for Howard and called it good. Oh well.

Ehh.. none of those RB's are super-stars about to break out this year, imo.

Yeah, I'll probably hold off for right now, unless someone gets dropped. I don't want to pick up Lewis right now because he's at least another 3 weeks away from even being able to play.

ChiefGator 10-14-2016 06:19 AM

I don't know what to think of Booker now. Somewhere in the third quarter, he had like 9.7 yards per carry and Anderson had 1.9. But, once the Chargers changed their defense to stop the pass, Anderson was able to gash them, even if most of his good runs were called back.

But only 5 hand-offs to Booker in that situation seems a bit telling. I'm not sure when Denver will give Booker more runs. Of course, I guess this was an interim coach, but still.

I'll hold onto him in case of an injury. If it comes down to me starting him.....I've already lost the season. He at least looks good though.

Yeah, I'll probably keep him a couple weeks to see if things change, but it is probably better for me to pick up Alfred Morris as a handcuff to my RB1 Zeke instead.

Is Ajayi the real deal? Or is this one of those situations where people pick him up and then he runs for 40-50 yards a week?

I'm in the exact same boat, but with daily not season long. I don't know what to think of this guy.

The Franchise 10-18-2016 10:54 AM

I'm about to blow my FA load on picking him up. Forte and the Jets suck.

We can keep 2 players from round 4 on as long as they stay on our roster the entire season.Took him in the 15th and started him last Thursday and starting him this Monday,my season is spiraling down quickly but I'll be damned if he's on my bench when they finally turn him loose.
