I have never met anyone with those preferences. I didn't get the larger screen with the 6 generation since I thought it would be too big but did with the 6s and was a pretty great upgrade. Thinner makes it easier to fit in your pocket and hold as well.

I'm hoping for a bendable screen and the return of the flip phone concept.

Except thin and wide is essentially the same area in your pocket.

I love the iPhone SE. I thought the iPhone 5 was the perfect size for me. Easy to use with one hand without having to stretch up and over, or use that stupid double tap home button thing that seems to **** up a ton of apps.

This. I just do not get the craze for mini tablets. If I want or need a bigger screen I'll grab my iPad. A mobile phone should only require one hand to use.

Spend $800 on a phone to drill into it immediately after opening it. Interesting.

Each to their own. I don't carry a tablet around with me when I am out and about. I also have the typical deteriorating eye sight of someone who is not that far from retirement age.

I rarely used my iPhone 5 because it was too tedious. I frequently zoom in to read things and select links (or I'm using a bigger font which limits how many words are on a tiny screen). The iPhone 6+ gets used way more. The limiting factor for me is how big of device can reasonably fit into a casual pair of slacks. Some of the mini tablets are almost viable. So something just a bit smaller than a mini tablet that is still set up to be a phone... If they would make pockets just a little bit larger, something mini tablet sized would be great.

I use my phone two handed and I rarely use it while walking, so I realize I'm not the typical target audience.
