Yes, we haven't made them in awhile.
1 lb ground beef 1 onion chopped Cook and drain Add 1 can of tomato sauce 1 package of seasoning Squirt of ketchup Squirt of mustard Splash or two of worcestershire sauce Shake or two of crushed red pepper 1 tsp sugar aprox. I do a shake or two Simmer until thick Butter and toast bun Top with meat, swirl of ketchup and mustard Plow with fries or chips |

Wife makes them with Cream of Mushroom soup instead of a tomato base.
Adds a scoop of Miracle whip. all on top of browned hamburger. I am not a cook and she throws it together differently each time, so I may have missed something. Calls it a tavern. Much better. |
