No. This is bad. Paxton Lynch has all the tools but needs time. There's a reason the Chiefs have been all over this kid.

According to Sirius radio this morning, the Chiefs love him. Could be interesting.

If we took Lynch....this place would explode.

The New York Daily News' Gary Myers is "hearing" there is "no way" the Jets will draft Memphis QB Paxton Lynch.

Lynch's stock seemed hot -- potentially even top-ten hot -- as recently as last week, but teams' feelings regarding the way he dresses and carries himself have been made public over the last few days. Lynch is a toolsy, highly intriguing prospect, but he's developmental on the field and not entirely "clean" off of it. He's a wild card in a first round chock full of them.

Im torn on Lynch. On one hand, im excited they took a QB with a good skill set. On the other, we have holes to fill and Lynch is a luxury pick.

They're trying to take shots at his maturity, even painting him as a bit of a "weirdo". At least that's the sense i've gotten from what i've read these last few days.

It was the bullshit reason the Chiefs took Blackledge over Marino. Blackledge wore a suit, Marino a t-shirt.

Next year's QB draft is apparently God awful, so why not get this guy and draft defense the rest of the way in a deep draft?
All those picks won't mean jack shit next year if there isn't a QB to trade up for.

I can't see the Saints passing on him.

I can. Their defense is ****ing horrible. That team doesn't have the luxury of drafting a QB in the 1st.

BigChiefFan 04-28-2016 10:57 AM

I hope we get our QB.

BlackHelicopters 04-28-2016 10:58 AM

We are not taking a QB.

The Franchise 04-28-2016 11:00 AM

Saw reports for the following two things this morning.

1. The Patriots informed the media not to even show up at their facility today because they will not be trading into the 1st round.

2. The Browns GM stated that they won't be trading back into the 1st round for a QB. They believe that if they want to take one....that he'll be there at #32.

Same. On the other hand though we have two years with Alex Smith. Might be time to start thinking about that.

Pass on Lynch. First round qbs are a big risk.

Marino cussed when he would miss a throw in private workouts. Chiefs didn't like that.
