So, I get to stay home and give out candy while the wife and in laws take the boys out.

Is it weird if I sit on the front porch and drink whilst handing out candy?

If you do that, I think you're obligated to pour one for the parents.

We took the kids out a few years back and one of the houses was giving the parents Jell-O shots.

Totally ok.

And it's also ok to attach your business card to any piece of candy you hand out.

When I was in dental school, we would all go to a buddy's house in North KC and sit on his porch and hand out cany. One year we handed out toothbrushes and floss.

It didn't go over well, so the next year we had to step it up a notch. We ended up getting 2 kegs of Boulevard and letting patents have a cup on us for a drink.

We had almost 500 kids that night. It was awesome.

Your business is going to suffer if you can't think outside the box.

I am worried for your kids.

I know. It's not looking good

Can I give out only my business card and no candy? That would cut my costs at the same time that it generates revenue.
