I'm just going to periodically come in here and pepper the place with Cranberries videos now.

I really LOVE that Wallflowers record.

Mike Campbell from Tom Petty's band is on guitar, T-Bone Wolk on Bass, my old bud Rami Jaffe on Keys (now touring with the Foo's), Matt Chamberlain on drums (in the Even Flow. Pearl Jam video, fills in for Matt Cameron occasionally, awesome session drummer).

IIRC, T-Bone Burnett produced the record. I saw them at the Viper Room on like Labor Day Weekend 1996 and they killed. Jakob's a good dude. Saw them at VH1-Honors in 1997 at the Gibson and they were great although over shadowed by Prince, who kicked ****ing ass.

I swear tears came to my eyes on Prince's SNL gig Saturday before last. Maybe not on the level of his RnR HoF solo, but then who else can claim a Beatles all time classic as their own showcase? Maybe, Joe Cocker, but that's it.

Don't know if there's ever been a 56yo in history so on top of his game. He even looks mid-30s at most.

This isn't close. The Wallflowers are a one-hit wonder band formed as a vanity project for a significantly-less-talented rock offspring. The Cranberries have numerous memorable songs from multiple CD's and one of the most talented and recognizable vocalists of the otherwise musically drab 90's.

For those of you who are uninitiated, here you go.

Bob Dole could go the rest of his life without hearing Zombie and die a happy man.

I'll never forget his uber-creepy character in Six Feet Under.

Makes it hard to watch him in anything else...

The Wallflowers have 1 headlight, the Cranberries sing the elevator fart song. you know, let it linger.

Heh, I was just joking obviously... but yeah, I like them, I remember hearing Linger for the first time up in Alaska, rushed right out the next day and bought that album.

I love her Irish lilt.
