The guy is obviously a douche who's probably going to suck as an NFL QB and probably owns more pairs of Sperrys than the entire sigma chi fraternity combined, but I still don't understand why I'm supposed to give two shits about this pussy. Just when you think ESPN is getting back to normal with Tebow falling off the face of the Earth, this jerk-off has to poke himself into the picture.

Glad I got that NFL preseason deal. It'll be interesting to see what happens.

Excerpt: Cleveland Plain Dealer
Quote:

Browns coach Mike Pettine called Manziel from his vacation in Hawaii and addressed it, he told NEOMG on Monday. The conversation was 'positive' but he also planned to talk to Manziel face-to-face when he arrived for the rookie portion of camp on Wednesday.

Manziel regressed in practice after the first week of organized team activities, and some in the organization attributed it to too much jet-setting and not enough dedication to the playbook.

"Be sure you tip the strippers according to industry standard, Johnny, otherwise it reflects poorly upon the Browns."

From The Star Ledger:

Johnny Manziel: 'I've made some rookie mistakes,' but I'm still going to party
Quote:

But -- despite the private meetings with the coach and GM, and the likely scolding that came with them -- Manziel said he isn't ready to renounce his nightclub VIP status.

"I don't think there's anything wrong with me going out and having a nightlife, having a social life,'' he said. "I mean I am 21 years old and I do like going out and it was the offseason. It's free time for us and if I want to go out and hang out with my friends or go to nightclubs or do things like that then I think that's within my rights to be doing that and I think there's other guys throughout the league that are doing that and I'm not trying to compare myself to anybody else but I think that's within my rights to be doing that.''

 If you were right, and had some kind of knowledge that the Chiefs were going to draft this kid, God bless you, Cleveland. With your own track record on the line here, let alone Johnny Nightclub's, you've just locked the Chiefs in as the next dynasty in the league with that move in the draft to pick up this little punk.

I mean...

I don't make a whole lot of money. I'm definitely not an NFL QB.

But for ****'s sake...he's TWENTY ONE. We're chastising him because he likes to GO OUT? Really? Really?

I can only imagine what everyone would of thought of 21 year old Hootie had he been famous and the subject line of every tabloid in America.

It would have been worse than Manziel, no doubt. Thank god I'm not important.

Hootie 07-27-2014 06:12 AM

I don't even like "Johnny Football." But this stuff is making me pull for him more than cheer against him.

Can anyone imagine what Jordan would have been if he played in the Twitter/social media era?

hahaha

In an interview with John McLain of the Houston Chronicle in February, Manziel vowed to shed his Johnny Football personna and TMZ lifestyle.
If he can't get Manziel to stop partying, I don't know who could.

Hootie 07-27-2014 06:31 AM

I tell you what....

I like this media darling a HELL OF A LOT more than Tim Tebow. And it's not even close.

I'll pull for Johnny. I ****ing LOATHED Tebow and his attention whoring bullshit. I'm glad he's dead to everyone.

Hootie 07-27-2014 06:31 AM

when Tebow went on his Denver run...I'm glad I correctly predicted on my Facebook that he'd be out of the league in two years.

He was literally the worst NFL QB I've ever seen.

The "he's TWENTY ONE" defense works if this guy is going into his senior year of college while working at a Kum and Go on weekends. He is the new face of an NFL franchise who is expected to come in and potentially provide immediate improvement.

I don't really give a **** about that though.

You only get to be 21 one time. Doesn't matter if you're Hootie 2.0 or Johnny Manziel. If he wants to go out, party, be rich, bang young girls, hang out with Bieber...

good for him.
