Alex Smith could be Drew Brees, or Chase Daniel.

But this is KC. It's where QB's go to die.

I'm not sure how anybody could look at Alex Smith and see Drew Brees.

Alex Smith was ousted because he's not good enough.

Don't see it...

Yeah, but look at how well he was doing for half a season before he was benched! Come on man, you're not looking at this objectively.

Did you see Drew Brees before he rebecame Drew Brees?

Exactly. Does Alex Smith have a giant mole on his face? No?

Then stop making the comparison.

Well, everything at this point in contingent on what they do in the draft.

At least they're leaving themselves some flexibility.

It's just....how do we keep ending up at the same exact spot, no matter who's heading up the front office.

The Franchise 03-12-2013 04:12 PM

Well....Zach is apparently going to try.

ROFL.

Actually i did. Every Sunday. And even then he was more promising than Alex Smith.

BTW, how long did it take for Brees to become "brees" vs Alex smith to become.....well....shitty ol Alex Smith?

What a stupid argument.

Trent Green was fantastic here.

Rebecame? That sounds like a lesbian celebrity couple.

TinyEvel 03-12-2013 04:14 PM

Bobby Sippio.

LMAO

He's not Drew Brees. But your optimistic take should be: If Andy Reid can coach a completely washed up over the hill Jeff Garcia to within 3 points of the NFC title game, and get a guy who'd basically missed 3 years because he was in prison to the playoffs, there's no reason why he can't get Alex Smith there.

OrtonsPiercedTaint 03-12-2013 04:16 PM

Alex averages 12 games a season. It's going to be hard for him to reach any esculators in his contract or trade agreement. More booger time I guess.
