I agree. Nobody ever disagreed with that sentiment.

But, you keep talking about how much more awesome Sanchez is better than Cassel. When in retrospect they're the same exact POS QB.

Is turning an average QB into an above average QB a big enough accomplishment to call someone a QB guru?

Well then, which current HC does qualify for that label?

Is it just the word thats bothering you, maybe "specialist" works better.

I'd like to see a QB leave Jim Harbaugh's loving QB-friendly bosom and strike it out on his own first before I trust anything from that team.

In the meantime, Geno.

Exactly, can't even believe people are even bringing up the thought of trading for this guy.

Belichick

McCarthy

Payton

Shanahan

Mike Smith

Kubiak

Or any coach who made their QB slightly better.

Just hit his receiver in stride with an arm clubbing his face for a gain of 45. Money.

ROFL You still haven't explained how Harbaugh is a QB guru for turning an average QB into an above average QB. All the coaches I've mentioned did more for their QBs than Harbaugh did for Smith. He basically did what Weis/Haley did for Cassel in 2010 except in his case, he had a QB that actually had NFL talent and was a 1st overall pick.

Hell, Cassels 2010 was better than Smith's 2011. And Smith played 2 more games against NFC West teams.

Define "better."

Smith would have been playing in the SB if it weren't for 2 muffed punts.

Cassel wishes he never made the playoffs in 2010.

Solid definition... much clearer now.

That whole "he was 2 plays away from the SB" argument is stupid and you know it. Smith wasn't a good QB last year. He was the epitome of game manager.

Dude had 10 games with 200 or fewer yards last year. I mean... C'mon!

Smith went, what, something like 19/19 two weeks ago?

You think a guy with his level of talent does that without someone coaching and scheming him to it? making him much better than he actually is.

Whatever though, your moneys on the dresser, i'm through with this.

Once again... that has nothing to do with being a QB guru.

Is your point that he doesn't teach yoga or assign mantras?
