A key stat from 2010 was that the Chiefs ran the ball for an average of nearly 40 times a game for just under 200 yards a game in the 10 games that went in the win column. I posted the exact numbers more than once here, but am not sure which thread(s) they are in, and I am too lazy to do the research again.
Too me, that stat package had far more to do with what happened in 2010 than the 27-7 stat did. That 27-7 stat is nearly as meaningless as Orton's 1-2 stat was during the last three games last season. |
