It does. In the Alex Smith era, our defense has been ranked 15th, 7th, 3rd, 2nd and 5th in points per game allowed. Since anyone with a brain wouldnt blame the defense for being so good in ppg allowed the last 5 years, wouldnt it make sense to look elsewhere to see why we didnt win a championship?

So according to you Bob Sutton should stay.. You just said anyone with a brain would look elsewhere than the D to put blame on not winning a championship. So using that logic you feel Sutton has had a championship caliber defense pretty much every season he has been the DC.

dls6501 clearly is a huge Bob Sutton fan I think that says all we need to know about his football knowledge.

That shows nothing about the 2 times his defense has absolutely collapsed and allowed a comeback of historic proportion.
