Since this is likely going to be an ongoing discussion, I'm moving it to the Media Center.

Also it accepts a mini sd (I have a 16 gb in mine)
Also it has a Full size USB slot and if you are a reader of the Nook , they have an app. Wife likes to read her books better on the Nook than the G-tab because there is no glare on the screen and the nook is lighter but if it's a low light situation, the G does well as a nook reader... |

Just curious to see if I will lose some of the included apps once I root it. |

The forum you need to ask any and everything is here I am by no means an expert but it was simple enough for a dumb old country boy to figure out, I am sure the geniuses on this forum will have no problem.:thumb: |
oh and as far as losing anything... If you have a Droid now and use your email on your new device (gmail) all those apps you purchased for your phone are available to you to download, you do not have to pay again.
And if that's not cheap enough for you, just go to the Google and type someappname and apk and you will get a place to download that, you will then be able to install from the sd card and to the sd card and not use up your internal memory. Is it better than your laptop? No... is it fun to mess with when you are laying in the bed and the ole lady don't want to make love? Yes |

As far as the rooting stuff, I don't know your tech level but please be careful, I don't want you to brick it... Android is built around a gmail account and it's exactly like a Droid but it's just bigger and you can't make calls on it.... Good Luck |

You guys will have to let me know what you think. I'm holding out until the Honeycomb tablets start hitting the market in force, but I refuse to pay more than $500 (probably $400) for one.
