Serious or sarcasm? They usually have some good stuff after the credits.

At times they have had more than one after (during?) credits scene. If this is all they show it's really not anything you don't already know or would in any way add to the story.

It's more fan service than anything but if you want a completely unspoiled experience skip it...

Joss Whedon is saying it's fake, which matches his and Kevin Feige's earlier claims that there is no scene after the credits.

They kinda have to say that right?

Meh, this looks like another cliché-ridden pile of garbage that fanbois will attach hidden meanings upon. There will likely be several lawsuits attached after the audible assault patrons will be subjected to in theaters. Another cut and paste hero movie with a predictable ending. Hey, guess what? The Avengers win!
