I just don't see Foles as having been drafted by Reid with the plan to groom him for the future. First of all, Reid had lost his final say in the draft process, and it certainly seemed like the bloom was well off the rose before this last year of his in Philly.

I have a hard time believing that Reid was banking on Foles or had long-term plans for working with him.

He certainly didn't have those plans for Vick since he benched him for a rookie.

Chip Kelly can do well with Vick. I won't be surprised if Vick starts if he surprises.

I was kind of hoping we could get Foles along with a rookie. I wonder who the vet we acquire is going to be?

Meh, if they were like the bengals, they would have traded Vick for a couple of first rounders to the Raiders.

They should be able to get something worked out unless, of course, one of them gets cold feet.

Yeah, that would seem to be the sole reason they wouldn't pull the trigger on a deal.
