I think the defense will look worse post-FA, obviously. We lose Smith... maybe Howard. But if we upgrade the offense like this, I don't even care. Alex, like all QBs is at his best when he has time to throw. I'm giddy.

We can use our entire draft to patch the holes on D. Re-sign DJ , maybe Lane and we're golden.

Adam Teicher tweeted that he talked to DJ and DJ is optimistic they get a deal done soon.

Schwartz hasn't missed a game in his career. Much rather overpay a little for him than overpay a lot for Allen.

If you think about it, the Chiefs right tackle position has been in flux going back to when John Tait left for the Bears.

This might finally address the position.

Morse at guard with Fulton at C is an intriguing idea, but until we hear word about it I am not going to place them as the starters in those spots.

FOR NOW, it's gotta be Fisher-Grubbs-Morse-LDT/Reid-Schwartz
