I have an excellent method that's proven effective...I just gave up last year 20 lbs away from my goal...stopped working out, started eating whatever I wanted. . . Gained it all back.
Hit me up if anybody's interested. I'll gladly share |
What about No Fap 2013?

If anyone wants info on Keto, let me know. I'm down to 198 this morning and was 295 a year ago, and 330 at my highest. GoChiefs also lost over 100 lbs doing a similar, if not the exact same diet. Not every diet is perfect for everyone, but I'm really into this one, and I think it has great results.

Lost 24 lbs in the last year or so. At 159 now, hope to stay under 160 and continue going to the gym 3-4 times a week and running about 10-12 miles a week.

187. Want to get back to 168 while maintaining my muscle mass.

In at 189 with a goal of 170 and evaluate from there.

I'm probably going with the slow carb diet, which is basically meat or eggs+beans+veggies.
I strongly prefer well seasoned all-in-one recipes to individual portions of food. So here's what I have so far: 1. Chilli 2. Ground beef or sausage + cabbage + onions + cannellini beans fried up in a pan and topped with sriracha sauce 3. Tuna, cannellini beans, tomatoes, olives, onions, olive oil, capers etc. 4. Ham and beans with a side of greens 5. Cassoulet (perhaps modified to remove any hidden carbs) 6. Modified gumbo (no roux :deevee: ) served over beans instead of rice??? What other all-in-one dishes with meat+beans+veggies do you guys have? I'm set for breakfast (2 eggs + spiced black beans + greens) but still need 12 meals per week (I get a cheat day) for lunch and dinner and need more variety on my list. |
I'm like 5 pounds away from what I'd consider my absolute ideal weight right now, but I love this thread. Something in here inspired me to look at a thread I started seven (!) years ago:

It's still pretty hard to believe I'm a "totally healthy young woman," as my doctor put it after my last physical/bloodwork, but it seems like the habits and information I learned while on a super extreme very low cal/carb diet for a few months in 2006 helped me mostly stay on track. It's so weird to look back and realize how much more physically capable I am than I was from 15-22. Keep it up, ladies and duders. <3

I'm watching my carbs this time. I'm not paying attention to stuff that they might be (like yogurt and such), but I'm going to start avoiding stuff like bread, rice, and potatoes whenever possible. If I do eat rice, I will only eat brown rice. If I eat bread, it will only be whole wheat. I know it's not what everyone's doing, but I think this will work for me. Also, I'm trying to avoid high fructose corn syrup like it's the plague. I will be reading labels on that in order to do so.
Other than that, I'm using myfitnesspal again to track calories and exercise. I lost 45 lbs in six months last year. Gained 20 back in the last six months. Without saying my weight, I will say that my goal for this year is to lose 65 lbs. Seeing that I lost 45 in six months last year, I know this is completely doable. |
