Actually, it's not, it keeps your skin healthy, especially if you work or play outdoors a lot or with anything that draws moisture out of your skin, which is your first barrier of defense for your immune system. You draw bacteria and viruses toward you with very dry skin. This is why diabetics have to have a good moisturizer because they're prone to infection.

Mechanics, truck drivers, construction workers have horribly dry and callused hands. They need hand cream—badly. I know a company that sells a greaseless cream with no fragrance to hunters.

It's not gaaaaaay or girlie at all. I guess if you use the petroleum based creams that are greasy and/or have fragrance it would be gaaaaay. But if you use something say, aloe vera based it's actually really good for your skin. Shea butter is greasy but some aloe creams aren't.

All I know is it works when many others failed. If I run out second choice is Eucerin.

I always put it on low heat so I can go do something even for only a short time

And that's why you will make a great wife to someone, some day.

It's not that serious. Yes, any man that works every day with his hands is prone to drying them out. I work at a fabrication/restoration shop, metal dries hands out like a mofo.

Eucerin is what we use around our shop.

I heard it works well. Just explainin' how it does that. Eucerin has always made me break out. Well, it is mineral oil which is made from petroleum and clogs pores. Mineral oil is cheap.

I noticed your brand finally removed it's parabens. That's good.

Lanolin is an awesome moisturizer but it's animal based, heavy and smells horrible. You smell like a sheep. I use it in winter on my feet then put socks over them. It has no man-made chemicals added...but works really, really well.

Yes, that kills your skin too. Non-dry, non-callused skin is healthy skin. That's why I posted hand cream as girlie stuff for men. Or what is usually considered girly.

Because Eucerin is made from petroleum product it sits on top of the skin and washes off. So does dimethicone. That's because they work on the basis of trapping in moisture. It works until you wash your hands but then you have to re-apply. There are creams that absorb better that don't do that too.

Surprised nobody has mentioned that we all use hand cream, but not for that purpose:)

I use a cream that is advertised as non-greasy cuz it's made of aloe vera which absorbs deep into the skin. So it also doesn't wash off. It's usually the greasy residue that men don't like and consider "girlie"...well if it has fragrance too. But fragrance is alcohol-based which dries out the skin. So mine wouldn't work for what you had in mind.

Do you guys like flowers?

Yeah, but he was talking about jerking off.

Mine wouldn't work for that either—should someone want to borrow some. It requires something with slide...and that means grease.
