Have we all forgotten that no one wants to work for Pioli already?

Came here to say this.

The Bills have only been a QB away from serious contention for about 3 years now anyway. We'll see if Rex can find someone before everyone on that insane D needs new contracts and Spiller walks/Jackson retires.

Except the Bills personnel on D was great in a 4-3 and Ryan runs a 3-4.

It has been established that Ryan runs a 4-3/3-4 hybrid.

The team that wins it all will most likely be playing very good defense.

Russel, the read option, and how well he throws the deep ball are all equal factors with that. The guy is devastating. But hey we got Donald Stephenson because of Scooters love with Cassel.

Schefter is reporting Greg Roman is going to be his offensive coordinator.

this combined with Jim Kelly's death...tough ass week for bills fan.s

I don't think we play them next year but we do in 2016 at Arrowhead.

Excellent move for both sides... Buffalo wins by hiring a proven coach that will increase their appeal among players and Ryan wins by inheriting a defense that will go from excellent to incredible under him.

He's bringing in Roman to run a ground and pound offense, another excellent move... if they get a decent QB things are really looking up in NY.

Yeah, but they win because of their defense. When you only allow about 14 points a game and force a bunch of turnovers, there's not much pressure on the offense. Last year they completely shut down the offense that scored the most points and yards of any offense ever in the Super Bowl, and all people want to talk about is Russell Wilson.

Probably a great point. Josh Mcdaniels then?

People still calling Rex Ryan an excellent head coaching hire remind me of the ones who were open to Herm coming to KC after he was already a known quantity in the NFL.

Considering the two guys in charge down there, I'd say thats a given... patriots guys just can quit each other, they're absolutely convinced of the superiority of "the way".
