what the **** are you supposed to look for, then? A GM/HC who comes in and DOESN'T address the QB position? Doesn't fill holes in free agency? DOESN'T resign pro bowl players? Because clearly ANY parallel to ***** means we're failures.

Everyone is just ****ing butt-hurt about this team not drafting a QB. If we had taken Tyler Bray in the third round, you'd all be shitting yourselves in glee. "Woot! We got our QBOTF! He has all of da tools!" You'd literally be happier if we got the exact same draft, but took the players in a different order.

Fine!

Here's how it went down:

1.1 - Tyler Bray
2.33 - Eric Fisher
3.65 - Nico Johnson
3.96 - Travis Kelce
4.98 - Traded for Alex Smith
5.134 - Knile Davis
6.170 - Eric Kush
6.204 - Sanders Commings
7.207 - Mike Catapano

Braden Wilson UFA

Happy?

Good.

STFU.

So, what is going on with Albert? He needs to sign and get this over with.

He is not getting traded. Both sides want to get a long term deal done. Albert is asking for roughly 9 mil a year. Hes looking for tge same contract as Duane Brown. However it is expected both sides will get a long term deal worked out before Mandatory OTAs start in the first week of June.

Yes Albert will be the LT and we drafted a RT for the next 5 plus years. Deal with it. We got bookends for 5+ years.

@Jason_OTC: Looking at the #Chiefs and Branden Albert and why Albert should get everything he wants http://t.co/zs66R19aWl

Pretty good read

Good link. The writer did make a number of assumptions I am not sure were in evidence.

The Chiefs haven't reworked contracts much for a long time, they have plenty of room to maneuver.

Albert can take his leverage and stick it up his ass

Mother****erJones 05-08-2013 10:08 AM

Albert got humbled for sure with this trade situation. He didn't have a market and won't have a big one next year being 30.

ChiefRocka 05-08-2013 10:09 AM

Why would Dorsey sign BA long term before the end of this season again?

KC tried to trade a solid player and now will gent bent over for a contract like a multiple pro bowler.

I suppose humble is relative...

I'd be shocked if kc got bent over by Albert. Albert has no leverage. KC can keep him another year and let him ago although I'd be mad to let him go for nothing.
