New banner CHIEFS DESERVE BETTER! FIRE PIOLI - FIRE CASSEL

bevischief 10-07-2012 01:21 PM

WTF?

bevischief 10-07-2012 01:25 PM

Can one of the kickers kick Cassel in the jimmy during one of the breaks?

bevischief 10-07-2012 01:32 PM

Yes!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Kyle DeLexus 10-07-2012 01:33 PM

I don't think I've ever heard cheering when a home team QB gets hurt before. I'm going to give the fans at the game the benefit of the doubt and say they saw Brady going for a ball to warm up and started cheering.

bevischief 10-07-2012 01:42 PM

Only real way to make a difference is to hit their sponsors in the mouth. Shop at their competitors and tell them about it and why you're doing it.

WV 10-07-2012 01:58 PM

So is it flying after the game too?

Bump 10-07-2012 02:01 PM

not one mention of it when I watched this game :(

the Talking Can 10-07-2012 02:02 PM

this day has been perfect

Cassel's shitty-ness is beyond argument, plus he got injured
we lost because pioli won't bench his **** toy, and neither will crennel

the fanbase told the country that pioli is a failure and an asshole, and there is nothing he can do about it

and we lost, getting one step close to Geno...

There was one point I thought it was coming when the commentators were piling on Cassel and discussing the boo's. I'm guessing they were told not to mention it during the game.

alnorth 10-07-2012 02:08 PM

so, that 60-yard FG we passed up at the end of the half...

why did we decide to punt, again?

Marty Mac Ver 2.0 10-07-2012 02:15 PM

That will be a part of phase 2. We need to identify all major Chiefs sponsors and use social media to spread the word and disrupt consumer buying patterns.

"We will stop supporting you until you stop supporting the Chiefs"

We need a financial revolution.

Um no Hy Vee is a sponsor of the Chiefs.

Mr. Flopnuts 10-07-2012 02:26 PM

Heh, I just got home from work. I had couples in from Kansas City this morning who were diehard Chiefs fans. Told them all about this. They LOVED it, and proceeded to spend thousands of dollars with me. When this clears, and provided they don't cancel, I'll be donating some money to the cause. I honestly think I got brownie points with them over this. Good job boys, and girls!

Molitoth 10-07-2012 02:33 PM

We need to start thinking of the next banner.

Would it be possible to find a plane down in Tampa to fly over?

WilliamTheIrish 10-07-2012 02:36 PM

I think Tampa has planes. Maybe. They have lots of mobile homes, but those don't fly unless it's in a tornado. But yes, I think Tampa has planes that fly banners.

Kyle DeLexus 10-07-2012 02:41 PM

Hey Clark we can't win at home, maybe we can steal another one on the road!

scho63 10-07-2012 02:47 PM

Today's ESPN wrap up has reference to the banner!!!! WAY TO GO

http://scores.espn.go.com/nfl/recap?gameId=321007012

Quinn, who was 3 of 3 for 32 yards passing on his only series, was greeted by applause from Kansas City fans when he entered the game. Some of them had paid for a banner to be flown behind an airplane before the game asking for Cassel to be benched -- and for Chiefs ownership to fire general manager Scott Pioli, the architect of a team that can't stop beating itself.

Friends and family in KC are on board and they are "true" fans.
I was shocked and happy for them today.

alnorth 10-07-2012 02:54 PM

Paying for a banner in Tampa would be so shocking and bizarre that I think the media would have to write about it.

Might be worth checking on prices.

Marty Mac Ver 2.0 10-07-2012 02:57 PM

i'd think the message would be lost on the locals down there and therefor not a wise use of limited funds. That's why social media is critical right now

It's not about the locals. Its about it being so insane that we did in TB that the KC media/players/national media would take further notice.

And realize just how fucking serious we are. I agree, if that doesn't send the message I'm not sure anything will.

Fire Me Boy! 10-07-2012 03:09 PM

Next banner should read "We deserve better. One down, one to go."

qabbaan 10-07-2012 03:13 PM

Flying one in Tampa next week?

alnorth 10-07-2012 03:15 PM

The "we have raised more money than we know what to do with" option (that probably wont happen) in case it happens:

Send up two planes, and fly two banners. Banner #1: "Clark: Please fire Pioli" Banner #2: "Don't forget to bench Cassel"

007 10-07-2012 03:20 PM

Seems like a waste of money to fly a banner in Tampa. I think that would make kc fans look stupid.

The dumbass fans who cheered Cassel's injury have outshined the banner/Cassel's poor play.

That's just the company line covering for being a shitty franchise and covering for a game plan that consisted of trying to not to lose.

The fans have spoken. And it was loud and clear. This team, from the owner on down is one of the two worst franchises in the league.

My 2 cents, the Casselhoff, has been ridden hard. Time to amp up the anti-Pioli sentiment. As humans, we need to ignore Cassel and let him heal. The real issue now is mgmt and we need change there.

We need to think long term here with this effort...now that this week is done, we need to amp up steam for the MOvement in general, how fans are tired of Pioli, the coaches, not winning for 19 years etc....

This really isn't about Matt Cassel anymore. This is be reigniting the Chiefs legacy and re-discovering the "Kansas City Way"

KCrockaholic 10-07-2012 06:48 PM

I agree wholeheartedly. Pioli is the problem. Let's not **** with trying to get Clark to sell the team. We can have worse owners than Clark. It is the managers job to manage not the owners. That's why he's there. He's doing a shit job. Time to go.
