Really like Alvarez but wish he'd been in the UFC about 10 years ago. Don't think his chin is going to hold up for long. His recovery in his Hansen fight was unreal.

Alvarez probably did win the fight, but if you are going to lay and pray, then you had better never lose, because the UFC cuts those guys quickly as soon as they lose a couple fights.

Yep, this card has been a disappointment so far, but there is no way the main event could possibly be less than highly entertaining. These guys are going to stand and throw.

I agree with Joe Rogan on this, though. If you don't like losing by getting taken down and controlled the whole round, learn how to defend takedowns.

Doesn't make for exciting fights, but it shows that one guy is clearly better at one of the most important disciplines in fighting.
