Bob Dutton ‏@Royals_Report
Scoring change gives Eric Hosmer an RBI single in the #Royals' five-run sixth inning. Means all runs earned.

Honestly, I wouldn't have been upset if they lost this game. They played hard and were making really good ABs sometimes you lose those games. It's games like those last two against Cleveland that drive me up the ****ing wall. You just can't sleepwalk through games like that.

AussieChiefsFan 05-01-2013 10:00 PM

Hell yeah, what a win!!!!!

They are going to try. The Rays don't come back, and its a 1:10 game. They may report to the ballpark and wait all day if they have to. If there's just an hour when its clear, they can start the game then play through rain for 5 innings.

Looking at the hour by hour, it isn't happening.

I think the warm weather might actually be making a substantial difference for this team. They are hitting with much more authority as a whole. That and Moose and Hos starting to pick it up and this offense can come much closer to matching what they did in preseason.

Well, not directly. However, water conducts temperature change a lot easier than air (jump in a cold pool, for example). Cold weather suppresses the immune system, both locally and to a lesser extent systematically to allow infections to set in.

And if you don't give a ****, go royals!
