Pat is the XFactor on the conventional wisdom that rolling out means you lessen your options downfield. Watch any highlights of our boy? He can make unconventional throws...rolling out is a strong point for him. If the defense leaves the other side of the field, he'll throw it there...

For most quarterbacks, yes

But Mahomes can throw deep down across the field. He can roll right and still throw a rocket deep down the left sideline

I'd be surprised to see a lot of blitzes when we're on defense, though I suspect we'll have 9 in the box a lot, and play the flats.

I just assume the blitzing due to Sutton's aggressiveness this year. I don't have any statistics to back this up but I think he's been way more aggressive this year with blitzing than previous seasons.
