He is going to a first class organization with one of the best coaches in the NBA. He should be thrilled.

Uprooting from a place he's been for his entire career and planned to be for the rest of his career is not going to be easy for him or his family. He never thought he'd be traded and honestly it's pretty amazing that he was.

Danny Green is a REALLY nice second piece to that trade. Is that deal really the best thing the Spurs could do?

Yes because Kawhi's uncle basically gave them no leverage in this deal. The Lakers weren't going to deal anything for him considering he's going there in a year and nobody else was either because they all know where he's going.

He's pissed (maybe rightfully but this is his first taste of the business that basketball is). I'm ecstatic.

LMAO Haven't seen a lose-lose trade like this in a long time, in any sport. DeRozan is putting the Raptors organization on blast, and they traded for a guy that might actually sit out the year because he's so butthurt.

Spurs didn't get anywhere near the haul they could've for Leonard, but that's mostly his fault for being such a whiny bitch. Good on the Spurs for sending him to Canada, though. That's a far cry from Los Angeles and San Antonio. LMAO

Toronto is a much better city than San Antonio, BTW.

Not for basketball LeBronie. Spurs > Raptors and it isn't close.

And how do you even know? Have you lived in both cities for any amount of time?

Cool. The lifestyle change from the weather alone will probably piss him off enough that he'll just end up in LA next year.

Not last year and especially not after this trade. Demar plays no defense and his offense goes to nothing in the playoffs. The Spurs dynasty is at an end.

Have lived in Toronto for a large portion of my life and have been to San Antonio, so yes, I know.

It's safe to assume he's going to LA anyway, which is fine in my books (Raptors get to rebuild with a huge amount of cap space and no more 28M DeRozan and LeBron adds a top 5 player).

For now and so is every other teams hopes of winning a championship other than GS. Spurs will bounce back they always do.

You don't make the playoffs 21-seasons in a row by not being able to make adjustments when star players leave.

Still just your personal opinion. You must like the cold because Toronto is a hell of a lot colder than San Antonio. To each their own.

Spurs were lucky/fortunate enough to have 3 HOFers including one of the best players of all time for most of those years (and then to follow it up with another top 5 player in the league in Leonard). They should be rebuilding at this point.

The cold certainly sucks in the winter. I'll take 80 in the summers over 100+, though. And beyond weather, there's certainly no comparison between the cities.
