Actually, not a bad idea.

Actually, getting rid of Mike Aviles is one of the things the Royals did right. Keep in mind, they booted a dude coming off of two years of batting .325 and .304. They were right, he turned into a below replacement or at replacement player, and now hits .250, below-avg defense, and doesn't get on base.

2013 War Mike Aviles - 0.7
2013 War Miguel Tejand - 0.6 (in less games)

Combining War of Tejada and Getz in the same amt of games, you still get more Win Above Replacement that Aviles.

I like Ryan Theriot who is a FA to be our second baseman.

“We’re looking forward to playing a great team and handling business,” Dyson said. “We’re going to take care of business. We’re on a mission.”

Yeah, I don't get why they can't just do this.

Dayton Moore tells the KC media they can expect Bonifacio to play 2nd and 3rd."

When there are three minor leaguers in your lineup your not gonna win a lot.

Simple. You put Elliot Johnson in the lineup and have him play third base.

Elliott Johnson and who else? Getz didn't kill us today - he had 3 walks. Gordon went 0 for ****ing 5 and left 5 men on base. So, WTF are you talking about?

Dyson and Getz. So your saying Getz and Dyson are everyday major leaguers.

Lex Luthor 08-14-2013 07:51 PM

Why the **** is Elliot Johnson still on this team?

He's got 1 hit in his last 51 at bats, and his error today cost the team the game. I don't get it.

That batting average of .019 since June 21st IS pretty impressive. That must be the reason.

According to Dutton they like his versatility.
